Yevgenia

My absence has been missed I’m sure. I’ve been so busy I couldn’t tell which way was up. I’m happy to say that I’m still well and alive and I’m back extra early this morning to bring you a fun find that I made extra early this morning.
I’m usually not out of bed this early in the morning but I had a bit of trouble sleeping last night so when I did wake up I decided that although I’m not a coffee girl I was going to need coffee in order to make it through the day. My need for coffee allowed me to find Yevgenia and their cool eco friendly ceramic coffee cups.
This ceramic cup with silicon lid is eco-friendly alternative to sipping coffee or tea on the go! Just a bit of hot water and soap will keep this cup in good shape! Such an excellent way to help the environment!
Coffee Talk
Mar 11th
There is no one that appreciates a great cup of coffee more than I. I may not drink it every morning, or I may opt for an iced coffee, but I do love my coffee. And I’m not talking Folgers or something like that. I love to try different brands and flavors. Whole bean or pre-ground, I don’t care! Just don’t get in the way of me and my coffee!
I was delighted to spot Great Smoky Mountains Coffee & Tea Company smack dab on the front page of Etsy tonight! I started drooling as I peeked into their shop and found that not only do they buy the best organic beans, but that they roast your beans to order. When your coffee arrives on your doorstep, it’s sure to pack a powerful punch of flavor! You can even opt to have personalized labels – how fun, especially for gifting to your favorite coffee-lover!
It’s evident that this shop owner is passionate about coffee, too. She creates custom blends, often using more than one type of bean and taste tests each blend both black and with cream & sugar, noting that sometimes a blend is mediocre as black but outstanding when paired with cream & sugar.
I think the only problem you’ll have when visiting Great Smoky Mountains Coffee is deciding which flavor you want. The best solution? Choose the four-bag special! You get four 1-pound (after roasting) bags of the flavor of your choice. This is definitely enticing! Coffee, anyone?
My Picks: St. Patty’s Day
Mar 2nd
The month of March for me signifies it being one step closer to spring and St. Patty’s Day. I love St. Patty’s Day with the shamrocks, green beer, and luck o’ the Irish. I wanted to share with you today my pick of St. Patty Day themed items from Etsy.

I love this Glitter-Tummy Leprechaun Penguin Greeting Card from Penguin Palooza. This card would be great to send your St. Patty Day greeting to young and old alike! The inside is blank so you can include your own message. And really who doesn’t love penguins? Check out the rest of Penguin Palooza’s selection of cards, they have some wonderful ones for any occassion.

I love the taste of Irish Creme especially if it’s mixed with a beverage of the adult kind. I found these lovely Irish Creme Hand Crafted Flavored Coffee Beans from Downtown Roasters. You will recieve a whopping one pound of columbian coffee beans that are organic and fair trade, yet another reason to love this coffee. Downtown Roasters sells several other blends of beans sure to wake up any taste buds.

We all know that on St. Patty’s Day if you are not wearing green that you are likely to get pinched. For those of us that don’t own much green in our wardrobe here is a classy piece to wear to avoid the pinch on St. Patty’s Day! This Shamrock Jade and Sterling Silver Necklace from Amy Nicole Artisan Jewelry is something I would wear year round. I love the distressed look of the shamrock and the color of the Jade stone. Such a lovely piece.
So there you have it, my top pics for St. Patty’s Day goodness. Do you have any special items you are eyeing to celebrate this wonderful holiday?
