I remember a long time ago stumbling acrossed Pink Dandy on Etsy and oogling over all the wonderful products that were offered.  I put it on my massive list of companies that I wanted to order from when I was in need of products.  You can imagine my excitement when The Handmade Guru (Kim) contacted me to tell me that Pink Dandy was interested in doing a review/giveaway.   While working with the wonderful owner of Pink Dandy, Janae, I can clearly see that she loves what she does.  This is probably one of the reasons that Pink Dandy has been such a success.  Being just under a year old Pink Dandy has already sold over 500 products, that is an amazing first year for a new bath and body etailer.

I was sent Pink Dandy’s Whipped Satin Luxury Cream in Honey and Shea scent.  The first thing that excited me was the prospect of how well this one would smell, even before I opened it up to take a whiff I was excited, I love the smell of honey.  I was not disappointed at all by this lovely honey scent.  It’s an even mixture of Honey and Shea, which makes me very happy as normally one scent overpowers the other and for some reason it’s usually the scent I enjoy the least.  Not so with Pink Dandy’s Honey and Shea, it sort of reminds me of a scent I ordered from Avon once called Honey and Lemon which to me was too strong, I remember thinking if this was a bit ligther I would love it.  Well Pink Dandy’s Honey and Shea is just that, it’s perfect to this little bee. It also lasts forever on your skin, my hands were silky smooth for literally hours and smelling great.

Without realizing it I wrote a whole paragraph about the smell, I do that from time to time but what you are probably most interested in is the texture and how well it works.  The texture is perfect, one of my pet peeves about lotions is that most tend to be very thin and watery and I really dislike that. or they tend to be so thick they don’t sink in to your skin and I end up having to wash them off.  Not this lotion, Pink Dandy has hit it right on the head with the texture of their Whipped Satin Luxury Cream.  It creates a wonderful layer of moisture and makes my hands feel oh’ so great, I keep rubbing them together over and over again because I love it that much.  I can’t wait to try this later after I do a pedicure because I have a feeling it will work perfectly to moisturize my feet as well.   The Whipped Satin Luxury Cream is made with Grapeseed Oil which is said to be rich in vitamins and minerals, I think this is what is making my skin feel so good, prior my hands were cracked and red and they look very nice now too, no more redness. Hooray!

Normally at this point I would give you the giveaway information but I just have to tell you about one more Pink Dandy product today that I want very bad and will be ordering very soon, I just have no self control, but that’s ok.  Pink Dandy makes face masks, really how neat is that.  Not only do they make face masks but they make a Organic Strawberry and Coconut Cream Face Mask that is also Vegan.  This mask if made of Organic Strawberries which are packed full of Vitamin C and salicylic acid, that is said to be great for removing dead skin cells and cleansing pores.  The mask also includes Pink Kaolin Clay,  Bentonite Clay, and Coconut Milk.  I need this and I think my husband would love this too, yes he’s man enough to use face masks and we often do this ritual together for a bonding experience (shh don’t tell him I told everyone he’d kill me).   I can only imagine how delightful this mask smells, Strawberries and Coconut, just the thought of these two mixed together makes me drool (I’m hungry too which is probably making it worse).   The Organic Strawberry and Coconut Cream Face Mask  is said to be good for controlling oily skin, reducing acne breakouts, and improving skin texture.  This will be mine, check it out!
