A Girl Can Never Have Too Many…

…handbags, of course! I never used to carry a purse. I hated them. Always feared I would lose a purse if I carried one. Now, I find that I really have to carry a bag of some sort to have the things with me that I need when I leave the house. It’s been awhile since I’ve bought a new handbag of any sort (my boyfriend is probably thinking I already have enough!) so I was browsing Etsy to see what I could find.

My favorite bag in Talitha Leather’s shop is the leather wristlet clutch, which is offered in a variety of colors. They even have…PURPLE! I like the strong spring frame closure on this wristlet as opposed to a traditional zipper.

Tonight I bring you some whimsy, fun, Smurf-arrific handmade goodies. The Smurfs was my favorite cartoon when I was little, so I was stoked to find these Smurfy handmade goodies out on Etsy! I may be 30-something, but I will forever be a kid at heart.
The Nancymom Collection – Smurf barista apron
I love wearing an apron when I cook. And I really want this one. REALLY. This Smurftastic apron is made from repurposed, thrifted fabric, as are all the aprons in this shop.

So last night I brought you a “gift guide” for Valentine gifts for your little ones. Tonight I have a “gift guide” that highlights handmade gifts just for him! Greenstarstudio’s shop is chock full of kid-friendly handmade goodness. But, what really caught my eye are the color your own OoAKies. While I don’t know what OoAKie stands for or means, I can tell you that a lot of love went into making each and every one of these plush colorables. Each is drawn, cut and sewn – all by hand.
