Now that those of us living in Washington state are starting to see the rain clouds part I can officially start to think about taking my boy Sabbath on walks. Sabbath is my brother’s pit bull that he couldn’t take with him when he moved to Arizona so he’s been staying at Casa de Keane, or as my brother would argue Casa de Storie, until he’s able to have a dog again. Heck, I’d be thrilled if I got to keep him forever. This dog is totally bad ass.

Happy -almost- Valentines!

Yay! It’s finally Valentines weekend! A time for love and reconnecting. We are celebrating Valentines tonight instead of Sunday due to the hotel being booked when we wanted to go. I thought I would share with you today a few things that I would be utterly pleased with for Valentines Day (overnight shipping? I can have it?). Enjoy!
Because I am starving right now the first thing I went on the lookout for was a yummy Valentines Day Treat. I didn’t have to look far, I found a wonderful treat shop called Broken Road Farm on Etsy. They make these wonderful Valentines Balls, cake dipped in frosting, with sprinkles. It goes without saying I love cake! I love cake even more when I don’t have to cut said cake. These are perfect for the lazy snacker in me.
On Valentines Day you gotta have a special “garment” to wear. Be it a dress to go out in, or something a little less to stay home in *winks*. These Valentine’s Bloomsies from Bloomsies are wonderful! They come in an arrangment that you could even display. This set contains a pair of knee high socks, two pairs of boy style briefs, and a hand painted card wrapped in a vase that you can put to great use because he better have gotten you flowers too, right? Right! I love these!
My husband pretty much knows where he ranks. Right behind the kitten! I love my kitten more then life itself so I’m defintily going to appreciate something special for him on Valentines Day. Retro Animals

Sabbath is starting to smell better thanks to cool new shampoo I picked up for him but now I want him to look prettier. Did I just call my pit bull pretty? Maybe I just need to spruce him up a bit and I think after making him smell better it’s like to spice him up with a cool new collar!
I found Retro Animals on a whim and you know what I think is so neat about this company? They would like to increase the chances of cats in shelters being noticed and getting adopted into a nice loving home. So for every cat collar that is sold on Etsy, they are donating one to a local animal shelter. That would totally help make the cats stand out especially after you see how cool these collars are!
Coco, my cat that’s in Arizona, would love a new collar but today it’s all about Sabbath so I found him this Camo Bone collar that I think would look great on him. Each collar comes in a variety of sizes so if you have a little dog you can have one made in the same fabric choice. You just have to specifyat checkout. Great shop!
