I love the coloring books. I want a few of the prints but I especially have my eye on the ACEO cupcake. Yeah, so? I’m a cupcake lover. If it has an owl, a cupcake, or is absolutely insanely unique I’m down. The minute I saw this cupcake I had to have it. Too bad my bank account says I can’t. One day I will though! Oh yes, one day it will be mine!
Damn I found another cuppy cake I want too now. I’m doomed! When I’m rich and famous Bethenny Frankel style I’ll buy 10 of these and share with you. Promise!

My mouse pad is beyond worn out. I don’t think it has anything to do with me being on my computer 6 hours a day.. nahhhh. It’s the best looking mouse pad ever. I bought it from Etsy and it’s white with fun red cherries all over it. I’m sort of sad to see it go and even went looking for another one in the shop I bought it from and they no longer have one for sale like this. I’ll be sad to see it go once I replace it.
I found Boqinana though and they have super cute mouse pads so I’ll most likely be picking one up for this cute Etsy shop. There’s many to pick from! I’m sick again. I think the reason I’m sick again is because the first time around I didn’t take any antibiotics. I tried to kick it without going to the doctor. I just took over the counter stuff and it went away on it’s own. Now it’s a week later and it’s full steam ahead. I finally managed to make a doctors appt last night so that I would for sure go in a be seen. I feel like I just need to pop my head. It’s gross.
When I’m sick I’m thankful for poptarts. Why poptarts? Well, they make easy breakfasts for lunch in the morning for the kids. We go through a ton of poptarts in this house! The boys are allowed to pick them out and boy do they pick out some interesting flavors. S’more flavored poptarts just don’t sound all that appealing. What happened to strawberry and cherry?

List, coupons & groceries…oh my!

Earlier this evening I finally hit the grocery store for some LONG overdue grocery shopping! I have been trying to save some bucks when it comes to food shopping so I’ve been clipping coupons, making every effort to stick to a list and doing grocery shopping on Wednesday night – it’s double coupon night! The down fall is I feel like I’m all thumbs, even when I have my patient boyfriend with me. I’ve got my envelope of coupons in one hand, list in another, trying to search for the items I need and negotiate traffic in the aisles. Whew! Well, tonight I found TWO things that will help me become a more organized and efficient shopper!
Bits n’ Pieces, etc. has these adorable “mini list takers“ and they’re small enough to toss into your purse (unless you carry a smaller purse) or tote bag. They also hold a mini legal pad and mini pen or pencil. Each mini list taker comes filled with one pad and one pen or pencil and also features an interior pocket to hold things like coupons, receipts, credit cards or whatever your heart desires. There’s so many fabrics to choose from, you might just have to buy a few! With Mother’s Day around the corner, this would also make a great gift for the moms in your life!
The second handmade goody I found tonight is even better. I’ve been on the hunt for a coupon organizer. But I want one that will last for a while. And that has enough dividers so that I can organize my coupons to my preference. Well, at Grandma’s Little Lilly I found just that – and MORE! This shop has a coupon organizer that is a MUST for every coupon clipper! Each organizer is made of 100% cotton fabric, fully lined and stabilized with stiff stabilizer to endure wear and tear. Hi, my name is Heather…and I’m a GLEEk! And I’m proud to admit it! I’m super excited for the return of Glee to my weekly TV (or DVR in most weeks) line up tonight. How many other GLEEks are out there?! Apparently there are some Gleeks out on Etsy, because I found some handmade goodness in honor of this whimsy, fun show.
My favorite find was a shop called Straitjacket Fun. The shop owner says she started making her own stuff whenever she found a new favorite band or TV show that wasn’t yet popular…and therefore could never find any swag to show her love for the group or show. Apparently, Glee is one of those shows – how lucky for us Gleeks?! In this awesome shop, you’ll find handmade keychains with your favorite Glee characters on them!
