Rise N Shine Farm

Hope everyone had a marvelous Memorial Day Weekend. Since it literally down poured the whole weekend I had the pleasure of staying indoors and melting into my couch. I did have my trusty Blackberry however. The Blackberry assists in my stalking of Facebook and Twitter. It allowed me to see that most of the US was enjoying the sunshine and their family BBQ’s. Lucky you! We had rain blowing in from each direction and hail. Temps got into the upper 40′s and it was just delightful. Hey, at least I got to spend time with the kids and dream about white sandy beaches and shirtless men while I was holed up.
Then I had to go and find myself a shop like Rise N Shine Farm. One look at the pictures of their hammocks and you’ll be wishing that you were sitting on one in a heartbeat. The hammocks come in a wide variety of colors and can hold a max weight of 300 pounds. Heck, I don’t care what color it is as long as I can sit my tush in it on a sunny day and just relax. It looks like the absolute perfect thing to have when the sky is clear blue. I want!

I dream of warm sunny beaches and vacations by the pool ASAP. My baby brother is finally here from Arizona and he’s been bundled up the whole day. I think he’s missing the warm Phoenix weather and not so secretly I don’t blame him. I’m a bad blogger because I openly admit that I’ve been catching up with him and not focusing on showing you fun handmade items but I made it to the computer just in time to make you wish it was warmer too!
At Gallant & Jones they hand make all these amazing deck chairs. Makes me wish I had a deck to put some deck chairs on! Sure they are pretty pricey but they just look so nice. If I was made of money I’d be all over a whole collection of these. A girl needs meaningless items to make her life feel more complete and these are just the ticket! Warm weather and cute deck chairs here I come!

Like many of you I am sure, our only computer is a laptop. I love the laptop and the ability to sit on our couch and use it, I don’t enjoy however having to balance it on my lap and how hot it gets. We used to have an ugly white cooling pad but it’s since stopping working so I want something different this time. A quick search of Etsy produced something that is so my style! These amazing Custom Personalized LapDesks from The Kiwi Bee are just the bee’s knees (yeah I went there lol). I adore how they can be personalized to my taste right down to fabric, background colors, pictures of anything, and wording! The sky is the limit and the options have me sitting here hovering over the add to cart button. But first I must decide exactly what I would like, I’m thinking a brown fabric with a teal background. How would you customize yours?
