Bizzy B’s Candles

I created this new fan page on Facebook for candle lovers. It’s called What’s In Your Burner. Basically it’s for scent addicts like me! Apparently there’s already 103 other addicts because the group has only existed for 24 hours and that’s how many people have liked the page. I love how quickly things grown on Facebook. It’s a great place for networking and businesses should really create fan pages there for exposure.
One of my very purchase handmade candle purchases was from Bizzy B’s Candles. They have adorable chunk candles and even melts. I’m a melt lover. I like that you can change out scents quickly. At Bizzy B’s they have these aroma melts that are chunked out though. They are two scents in one! When they melt the scents are infused together to create one delicious scent. Simply pop them out of the cup, place in your burner and fill your room with amazing scent!! Each cup of scent is hand poured with para-soy wax, the finest fragrance oil and comes in many original scents. Great scent list too!
Boardwalk Candles and Quilts

I can’t believe the 4th of July is quickly creeping up on us. I know that I’m already starting to plan where I’m going so there has to be many of you that are doing the same thing. Heck, I even already snagged myself blue jello to make patriotic jello shots. I’m on top of my game! Now I’m just crossing my fingers that I won’t have a job that has to work the morning after the 4th because the 4th just so happens to fall on a Sunday. Boo!
If you’re like me and you’ve started making your shopping lists you have to add these fabulous candles from Boardwalk Candles and Quilts to your list. This All American candle is triple layered in red, white, and blue. The top layer is Black Cherry. The middle is Very Vanilla, and the bottom layer is Blueberry Cobbler. The candle weighs 8 ounces total and is 100% soy. For less then $9 you could have a great decorating item for your home that will make everyone ask you what’s baking. Very chic!
Whiff and Sniff Candles

Besides working on The Handmade Guru I also own and operate Whiff and Sniff Candles. That’s been my baby since October 2005. It’s been a long road! I love that website. I love making candles. The best part of making candles is buying fragrances. The second best part of making candles is always having a great smelling home. You never know what you’re going to walk into when you come over to visit. One day you might smell Emerald City cake burning and the next day I might surprise you with a delightful citrus scent like yuzu. My boys especially love having a mommy that makes candles. They like to sniff everything and are often under my feet when I’m trying to work. Bless their hearts.
I spent the day yesterday working on our June scent of the month. I’m bringing back a favorite from last year around this time, Patriotic Parfait. It’ll be available June 1st. It’s a red, white, and blue scent shooter. The red smells like strawberries, the white smells like a creamy vanilla caramel, and the blue is of course blueberries! Once the layers all melt together it’s a heavenly dessert that is just perfect for the 4th of July that is quickly creeping upon us. Bookmark my candle site and come check us out!
